Certified Security Operations Manager (CSOM) Examination Agreement

By starting the Certified Security Operations Manager (CSOM) examination (the "Examination"), the examinee ("Examinee") acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  • Confidential Information: Examinee understands and agrees that the Examination, including but not limited to its content, questions, answers, format, and any other materials provided or made available in connection with the Examination, constitutes confidential information (the "Confidential Information") belonging to Security Blue Team.

  • Non-Disclosure: Examinee agrees not to disclose, disseminate, publish, or otherwise make available any Confidential Information, in whole or in part, to any third party, including but not limited to other individuals, companies, organizations, or forums, whether directly or indirectly, without the prior written consent of Security Blue Team.

  • Use of Confidential Information: Examinee agrees to use the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of taking the Examination and for no other purpose whatsoever.

  • Ownership: Examinee acknowledges and agrees that all rights, title, and interest in and to the Confidential Information, including any modifications, enhancements, or derivatives thereof, belong exclusively to Security Blue Team.

  • Examination Elements: Examinee understands and agrees that the Examination consists of both practical and theory exam elements, and that both elements are considered Confidential Information under this Agreement.

  • Duration: This Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely from the date Examinee starts the Examination.

  • Remedies: Examinee acknowledges and agrees that any unauthorized disclosure or use of the Confidential Information may cause irreparable harm to Security Blue Team, for which monetary damages may not be sufficient. In the event of a breach or threatened breach of this Agreement, Security Blue Team shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief, as well as any other remedies available at law or in equity.

  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.

  • Penalties for Breach: Examinee understands and agrees that breach of this Agreement may result in penalties, including but not limited to:

    • Immediate and permanent termination of Examinee's access to any of Security Blue Team’s products or platforms without refund.
    • Legal action to claim for damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, reputational damage, operational costs, and legal fees.

By starting the Examination, Examinee acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
